Adept Equipment Services offers expert applications consulting along with fixture (tooling) repair, installation, and service. The typical sequence of events for applications and tooling services is:
- Initial applications study is conducted by either receiving sample parts or drawings from customer along with the process being used, e.g., molding, welding, machining.
- Prototype fixturing is produced to determine most cost effective process.
- Recommendation is made to customer as to most appropriate machine to acquire as well as part fixturing.
- Receive purchase order for tooling/fixture/mold repair or prototyping.
- Prototype tooling is manufactured and installed in available machine at Adept Equipment Services facility or the customer facility.
- Part run is completed. Rework is done to the tooling/fixture as necessary before customer acceptance.
